The vibration emission level given in this infor-
mation sheet has been measured in accordance
with a standardised test given in EN 60745 and
may be used to compare one tool with another.
It may be used for a preliminary assessment of
exposure.
The declared vibration emission level repre-
sents the main applications of the tool. However
if the tool is used for different applications, with
different accessories or poorly maintained, the
vibration emission may differ. This may signifi-
cantly increase the exposure level over the total
working period.
An estimation of the level of exposure to vibra-
tion should also take into account the times
when the tool is switched off or when it is run-
ning but not actually doing the job. This may sig-
nificantly reduce the exposure level over the to-
tal working period.
Identify additional safety measures to protect
the operator from the effects of vibration such
as: maintain the tool and the accessories, keep
the hands warm, organisation of work patterns.
Declaration of Conformity
We declare under our sole responsibility that
the product described under "Technical Data" is
in conformity with the following standards or
standardization documents: EN 60745 accord-
ing to the provisions of the directives

Assembly
Auxiliary Handle
Screw the auxiliary handle 3 either at the right
or the left side of the housing into the thread 6.
Using the handle mount 2 you can extend the
auxiliary handle and pivot it, user-defined, in or-
der to obtain a secure and comfortable working
position.
If the auxiliary handle 3 is already mounted, then
unscrew it from the thread 6. Tighten the handle
mount 2 with the screw 1 in the desired angle at
the right or the left side of the housing in the
screw thread 6. Correspondingly screw the aux-
iliary handle at the right or left side into the nar-
row end of the handle mount 2.
If you fix the handle mount at the left side of the
housing make sure not to cover the On/Off
switch 5.
Operation
Starting Operation
Observe correct mains voltage! The voltage
of the power source must agree with the
voltage specified on the nameplate of the
machine. Power tools marked with 230 V
can also be operated with 220 V.
Adjust the hold down guide
To work without vibration, adjust the hold down
guide 12 to the respective sheet thickness.
Hold the power tool in such a manner so that the
lower die 14 touches the under side of the sheet
metal. Loosen the screws 13 of the hold down
guide. Push the hold down guide 12 with a little
play (approx. 0.3 mm) onto the sheet. Make
sure that the hold down guide is straight.
Retighten the screws 13.
