Adjusting the water flow (Fig. A)
It is possible to set the water flow by using the
regulator knob (13):
• By turning anti-clockwise, the water flow will be
increased.
• By turning clockwise, the water flow will be
reduced.
Dry-run protection (Fig. A)
If no more water can be pumped, a dry-run protec-
tion feature switches off the pump automatically.
Pressing the power switch (3) into the " Off/0"
position. Submerge the pump in water. Then restart
the pump by pressing the power switch (3) into the
" On/1" position.
Finish operation
After use allow the pump to run using clean water
for 2 - 3 minutes in order to remove residues and
particles that may have accumulated in the pump
and outlet hose.
5. MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning and maintenance, always
switch off the machine and remove the
battery pack from the machine.
During maintenance or cleaning never rest
the appliance of the on the turbine (impeller).
Clean the machine casings regularly with a soft
cloth, preferably after each use. Remove very per-
sistent dirt using a soft cloth moistened with soap-
suds. Do not use any solvents such as gasoline,
alcohol, ammonia, etc. Chemicals such as these
will damage the synthetic components.
There are no user serviceable parts in this ap-
pliance. If the appliance appears to be blocked,
switch off the power at the mains, remove the plug
from the socket and check the appliance for block-
age (see 'clean the filter' and 'blockages').
Clean the filter (A,F)
Clean the filter (15) at regular intervals, and check it
for damage. Otherwise, its function can be impaired.
1. Unscrew the filter cover (4) by turning counter
clockwise and remove filter (15) as shown in Fig. F.
2. Use a mild soap and water solution to clean the
filter (15) and afterwards rinse with clean water.

3. Re-install the filter (15) and the filter cover (4).

Always flush through with clean water after
every use.
Blockages
If you suspect the pump has become blocked,
switch off the power at the mains socket remove
the plug and examine the turbine. The turbine can
be accessed by removing the screws in the base.
STORAGE AND FROST POTECTION
The submersible pump and accessories that are not
completely drained can be destroyed by frost. Com-
pletely drain the submersible pump and accessories
and protect them against frost. Keep this appliance
in well-ventilated dry premises with temperature not
going below +5°C.When not in use, keep this appli-
ance stored in a safe place out of reach of children.
