Please check the particular type of unit and type number from the identifi-
cation plate. Type number and the corresponding version are indicated in
the delivery documentation.

4.1 Mechanical mounting

` When mounting pay attention to the IP type of protection (see chap-

An electrical connection must be established between the sensor and the

each screw must be underlaid with a serrated underplate, V2A according
to DIN 6797.
Ensure that the sensor is mounted in such a way that the correct measur-

ing axes are detected.
The IMS360 is a pre-calibrated instrument that can be put into operation
immediately. The mounting area must be level, free from dust and grease.
Use 3 pieces of M5 cap screws and serrated washers for fastening. Observe
the uniform tightening torque of the screws. Take care to mount the incli-
nometer free from distortion.
The side with the marked axes and the identification plate is the inclinom-
eter's upper side.
