After you have purchased your gas bottle, you can start assembling your gas grill.
1. Make sure that you change the gas bottle away from other sources of ignition.
Position the gas bottle on the left side of the gas grill, making sure the container is in
a safe position out of reach of any heat source.
2. When ready to use the grill, insert the regulator into the gas cylinder valve and
tighten securely.
WARNING: Danger of fi re and explosion
Before attempting to light your gas grill, read the lighting instructions and
safety precautions. Before each use, inspect the hose for tears, cuts or
other signs of wear. Never use the gas grill if the hose is defective.
Make sure that there are no sources of ignition such as fi re, cigarettes,
open fl ames, etc. in the vicinity when changing the gas bottle. The device
must be switched off before changing the gas bottle.
• Make sure the hose is not twisted, as this may restrict gas fl ow when assembling
the gas grill. Furthermore, the hose must not be under too much tension or touch the
grill, as it can become very hot during use.
• Choose a hose that can withstand temperatures in excess of 80 °C.
• The fl exible hose should be changed every 2 years; if national regulations require
it, it must be changed more frequently.
