6. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

6.1 TRANSPOSITION

The keyboard can be transposed within a range of -6 / +5 semitones.
To set the transposition, while holding the [TRANSPOSE SELECT] button, press one of the keys from F#1 (-6
semitones) to F2 (+5 semitones). C2 corresponds to no transposition.

When the [TRANSPOSE SELECT] button's led is on, this means that the keyboard is transposed.

6.2 PANIC FUNCTION

The Panic function allows you to instantly silence all the notes that are currently playing. This function is to be
used if, due to reasons unrelated to the instrument (mainly electrical disturbances or duplicated notes from
MIDI IN), it is no longer possible to turn off one or more notes. To recall this function, while pushing the
[TRANSPOSE SELECT] button, press the C6 key on the upper manual.

6.3 MIDI DUMP FUNCTION

If you need to register the current instrument configuration (drawbars, buttons, potentiometers and pedals) on
an external sequencer, after you start recording hold down the [TRANSPOSE SELECT] button and press the
C3 key on the upper manual. Use the same button and key combination if you want to reset the instrument with
the current panel configuration after receiving a different setting from the sequencer at playback time.

6.4 HOLD PEDAL OPERATION MODE

You can choose how to operate the footswitch pedal connected to the [HOLD] connector on the rear panel
(see section 3 of section 3.2). After switching on, the pedal acts on the notes produced by the internal sound
generation and its MIDI message (Control Change Sustain n. 64) is sent to the [MIDI OUT 1] and [MIDI OUT 2]
ports.
By pressing the [TRANSPOSE SELECT] button and the C5 key at the same time, it only transmits MIDI
message (Control Change Sustain n. 64) without the pedal acting on internal sound generation.
Pressing [TRANSPOSE SELECT] and the B4 key, the pedal returns to normal operating mode.
