CONNECTION AND COMMISSIONING
In addition, another source can be connected to
"AUX" (7) via the 3.5 mm stereo jack cable on the
front of the housing. To do this, the input selector
switch "BT / AUX & LINE" (3) must be pressed. The
BT connection is interrupted and the "BT LED" (9)
goes out. The AUX input has priority over the BT
interface! After removing the 3.5 mm jack cable, the
CS-PA8 returns to BT standby mode.
Connecting headphones
Headphones equipped with a 3,5 mm jack plug can
be plugged into the "PHONES" jack (6) on the front
of the unit. All headphones with an impedance bet-
ween 32 and 600 Ohm can be used. Unsuitable low
impedance headphones can damage the unit or
produce unexpectedly high-volume levels that can
damage your hearing. As long as headphones are
plugged in, the speakers are turned off. As a pre-
caution, the volume on the "VOLUME" knob (2)
should be reduced before inserting and tightening
the headphones (these knobs are also used to
adjust the volume of the headphones).
Connecting the speakers
To connect your speakers to the CS-PA8, use cables
with a sufficient cross-section. Ensure that bare
speaker wires never touch each other or the back
of the casing! Do not connect any active loudspea-
kers! Only use loudspeakers with a nominal impe-
dance of 4 - 8 Ohm. Using speakers with a different
nominal impedance will damage the amplifier. For
each speaker (R: right or L: left) you will find two
speaker screw terminals (positive + and negative -)
on the device (11), which are connected to one side
of a speaker cable. On the loudspeaker there are
homologous or similar connections, also here the
polarity is indicated. The other end of the speaker
cable assigned to the speaker is connected here.
