The Humi Hot Advance is Chicco's new hot
steam humidifier, which promotes daily
well-being and provides a healthy environ-
ment for the whole family. The Humi Hot
Advance hot humidifier allows the correct
level of humidity to be re-established in
heated rooms or rooms with air condition-
ing, preventing the formation of dry air
that is damaging to the body. A correctly
humidified environment helps to maintain
the natural protective functions of the nasal
mucous and the breathing tracts, ensuring
greater protection against harmful bacteria
and polluting dusts. The Humi Hot Advance
humidifier vaporises water through a heat-
ing element, diffusing a continuous flow
of clean steam into the room. The tank has
been designed to reduce the risk of hot wa-
ter leakage in case the appliance tips over.
The Humi Hot Advance can also be used as
an essential oil diffuser.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Preliminary operations
• Check that the power cable plug (16) is dis-
connected from the mains.
• Remove the lid (3) and place to one side.
• Lift the water tank (5) and turn the cap (6)
counter-clockwise. Remove the cap. Fill the
water tank (5) with cold drinking water or
distilled water. After filling the tank, turn the
cap clockwise to tighten it.
• Place the water tank on the heating unit,
paying close attention to the position of the
steam duct (see Fig. 6). Check that it is po-
sitioned correctly, then place the lid on the
water tank.
• Place the appliance in its selected position,
observing the requirements outlined in the
"Warnings" section.
• Connect the power cable plug (16) to a sock-
et that is easy for an adult to access. When
the appliance is connected to the power
supply, a red LED light will illuminate. The
humidifier is on stand-by mode. When the
humidifier is in stand-by mode, press the
power button. The LED light will turn green
and the steam (≥100°) will come out of the
steam duct and the outlet once the water
has started to boil.
• If the LED light changes from green to red
during this operation and no steam can be
seen, this means that the "low water protec-
tion" function has been engaged. If this oc-
curs, switch off the appliance, unplug it, wait
until the product has cooled down com-
pletely and follow the procedure described
in the "Preliminary operations" paragraph.
• Add a few drops of oil or essence into the
area of the lid designed specifically for this
purpose (Fig. 7).
