COMMISSIONING

1. Clean the hotplate with a soft, damp cloth. Place your hotplate on a flat and
stable surface near the power outlet.
2. Make sure the voltage indicated on the product matches your line voltage.
Make sure the control is in the „OFF" position before plugging in.
3. Always use pots or containers with flat bottoms that are in close contact with
the heating element. Ideally, the pots or containers should have a diameter of
180-200 mm. Keep the surface of the heating element clean and dry.
4. When this hotplate is used by or near children, close supervision is essential.
Never operate this hotplate unattended.
5. If smoke is produced during initial use, this is normal. Heat the unit without a
pot for about 10 minutes before cooking.

OPERATION

1. Fill water and/or food into the container. The total amount of water and/or
food should not exceed 80% of the container to avoid overflow. Place a lid on
the container and place it on the hotplate.
2. Insert the plug into the socket. Turn the control knob from the „OFF" position
to „MAX". The indicator light will illuminate, and the hotplate will be in heating
mode.
3. Two points should be noted when using the new hotplate:
(a) When using this hotplate for the first time, a smoke odor may emanate from
the surface of the heating element. This is normal because it is an invisible
protective layer that is created during manufacturing.
b) Before the water boils, the hotplate indicator light may go out temporarily
because the thermostat control is temporarily off.
4. When you are finished using the hotplate, turn the control to „OFF" and
unplug it from the electrical outlet. Wait until the unit has cooled down
completely before moving or cleaning it.
