Unpacking and checking

1. Remove all parts from the transport packaging and discard the packaging.
2. Visually inspect the trimmer and accessories for possible transport damage. If any
parts are damaged, do not use the unit and contact customer service (see warranty
card).

Charge battery

General information
‚ For cordless operation, charge the integrated battery for approx. 4 hours before rst
use. Optimal ambient temperature: 0 to 40 °C.
‚ To maintain the battery's charging capacity, use the trimmer occasionally until the
motor stops.
‚ For regular use, the standard charging time is approx. 4 hours. Avoid longer
charging times to preserve the battery. However, battery overcharge is not possible.

Charging the battery

You can charge the battery directly or using the charging tray. The unit must be switched
off (no display indications).
Charging with the charging tray
1. Plug the mains adaptor into a power outlet.
2. Insert the connecting plug into the (a) charging tray socket or (b) directly into the
trimmer socket.
3. In case of (a): Put the trimmer in the charging tray.
