Submenu RS-232 is applied for interface configuration, parameter adjustments and
commands.

When selecting Remote On the controller itself is only operable via an external device. All keys
of the control panel except button On/Off are locked.
VACUU·CONTROL detects automatically, if Remote is activated or deactivated and retains

that setting.

Meaning
Default setting for transmission speed.
The baud rate of data transfer of transmitter and
receiver must correspond.
Default setting for parity check, a method for error
detection.
Preset for continuous data transmission without loss
– flow control.
Control commands not enabled, only queries
possible.
Connection for communication via RS 232 interface
enabled.
