Transport and storage of modules
The described components meet the requirements in IEC 61131 Part 2 for transport and storage conditions. The following
specifications apply for modules that are transported or stored in their product packaging.

Mounting rules
Distances
Install the mounting rail in such a way that there is sufficient space for installation and heat dissipation.
Observe the following when planning the installation of the product:

Guarantee sufficient clearance in the control cabinet or between adjacent components to ensure heat dissipation.
Minimum clearances in the control cabinet:
Clearance at top: 20 mm / Clearance at bottom: 20 mm

Clearance on left: 10 mm / Clearance on right: 10 mm

When fastening the product to a mounting rail, pay attention to the spacing between the attachment points:
maximum 500 mm - arranged between the first and last attachment point

Allow sufficient clearance for wiring and communication cable connections.

Route the cables away from the product as follows:
Horizontal mounting (see minimum clearances in the control cabinet): Route cables downward.

Vertical mounting (interface cover at bottom left): Route cables toward the right.
