Do not use the motor unit if it has
malfunctioned, has been dropped or
fallen into water to avoid any hazards.
Have it checked in a specialist work-
shop before using it again.
WARNING – Danger of Injury
■
Keep the packaging material away
from children and animals. There is a
danger of suffocation.
■
Make sure that the connecting cable
is always kept out of the reach of
young children and animals. There is a
danger of strangulation.
■
Keep clothing, jewellery, hair, hands
and other body parts away from the
mixing bowl during operation so that
nothing can get caught in rotating
device parts.
■
Never fi ll the device with hot food
or liquids! The contents must not be
hotter than 50°C. There is a danger of
burns.
WARNING – Danger of Fire
■
Do not operate the device in the
vicinity of combustible material.
■
Do not place any combustible materi-
als (e.g. cardboard, paper, plastic) on
or in the device.
■
Do not cover the device during oper-
ation.
■
Do not insert anything into the ven-
tilation openings of the device and
make sure that they do not become
clogged.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to

Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the device from working and
to avoid possible damage.

Do not exceed the maximal fi ll level!
The device could be overloaded or
the mixing bowl could overfl ow. No
liquid must get into the motor unit.

Do not operate the device without
any contents to prevent overheating.
■
Switch off the device and pull the
mains plug out of the plug socket if
an error occurs during operation or
before a thunderstorm.
■
Always pull the mains plug and never
the mains cable to disconnect the
device from the mains power.
■
Do not carry or pull the device by the
connecting cable.
■
Use and store the device at room
temperature, do not expose it to
extreme temperatures or temperature
fl uctuations.
■
Protect the device from heat sources,
fi re, persistent moisture, wet condi-
tions and impacts.
■
Do not lay or place any heavy objects
on the device or the connecting cable.

BEFORE INITIAL USE

Clean the accessories before you fi rst
use them as they may have possible
production residues on them. To do this,
follow the instructions in "Cleaning and
Storage".

INSERTS

The dough hooks (4) are suitable for
stirring and kneading bread doughs and
cake mixtures.
The stirrers (5) are suitable for mixing,
stirring and whisking light food or liquids.
