Troubleshooting

If the device is not working properly, please check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself fi rst.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!
Problem
The device does not work.
The control lamps do not
light up.
The green control lamp still
does not go out even after
4 minutes.
The waffl es are too brown.
The waffl es are not fully
baked.

Disposal

The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the packaging in an envi-
ronmentally-friendly manner and make it available to the collection service for
recyclable materials.
Dispose of the device in an environmentally-friendly manner. It does not belong
in the household garbage. Dispose of it at a recycling centre for old electrical
and electronic equipment.

Possible cause/solution
• Is the plug inserted in the mains socket correctly?
• Is the mains socket defective? Try another mains
socket.
• Check the fuse of your mains connection.
• Make sure that the lid (3) of the device is closed.
• If the lid (3) is closed correctly, the device is defec-
tive. Please contact our customer service depart-
ment.
• Reduce the baking time.
• Reduce the temperature.
• Increase the baking time.
• Increase the temperature.
