Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the 10m USB 3.0 Active Cable. This product has been designed to provide
trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a Lindy 2 year warranty and free lifetime technical
support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future reference.
The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Cable uses built-in active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.0
device by an additional 10m whilst continuing to support data transfer rates of up to 5Gbps. With USB A
male and USB B male connectors this product allows Type B devices such as printers to be connected
directly to your comoputer at longer distances and ensures flexible positioning.
The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable is compatible with all USB Type A equipped computers. With
plug and play functionality, this extension cable can be installed quickly and with minimum fuss.

Installation & Operation
Connect the USB A plug of the 10m USB 3.0 Active Cable to a free USB port on your computer. Your
computer will recognize the new hardware and install any required drivers automatically. Now connect
the USB B plug of the 10m USB 3.0 Active Cable to your USB device.
It is recommended that this extender is used with low power or self powered USB peripherals and not
high power consuming devices, unless they have their own power supply.
