WARNING! Operating the equipment incorrectly can cause serious injury and
damage. The following activities must only be carried out by trained and qualified
personnel. Follow the safety rules in these operating instructions.
One or more fuses are defective
Replace faulty fuses
Over-temperature in the Fronius DC Box 60/12 (e.g., due to di-
rect sunlight)
Find a different installation position for the Fronius DC Box 60/
12, if required (possibly under the solar modules); replace de-
fective fuse
Solar module string faulty
Remedy fault in solar module string, replace the faulty fuse
A fuse was used with a nominal current rating that was too low
(nominal current rating of fuse less than the max. short circuit
current of the solar module)
Replace faulty fuse and use a fuse with the correct nominal cur-
rent rating
Solar module strings connected with reversed polarity
Check the polarity of each individual solar module string and
correct any solar module string that is not connected correctly
Connection error
Check the DC cable 'OUT' for damage, check the connections
(terminals)
DC cable 'OUT' polarity reversed
Connect the DC cable 'OUT' to the Fronius DC Box 60/12 with
the correct polarity
