Intended use
The product is intended for grilling food. The product is intended to be used in household and
similar applications such as:
• Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
• farmhouses;
• by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments;
• bed and breakfast type environments.
The appliance is only approved for connection to the 220-240 V/AC, 50-60 Hz mains supply.
Do not use any other power supply.
Using this product for any purpose other than those described above may damage the product
and result in a short circuit, fire or electric shock.

Only use the appliance for its intended purpose. Misuse
can lead to injury.
Do not allow children to use this appliance. Keep the
appliance and its power cord away from children.
Children must always be supervised by an adult to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
This appliance may be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and/or knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and if they understand the
hazards involved.
Never switch or operate the appliance using an external
timer or remote control.
If the power cord of the appliance is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service,
or by a competent person in order to avoid hazards.
Never leave the power cord hanging over the edge
of a table and keep it away from sharp edges or hot
surfaces.
Always unplug the power cord:
- when the appliance is not in use
- when the appliance is left unattended
- when assembling or disassembling the appliance
- before cleaning
The appliance gets very hot during operation and
generates hot steam or smoke.
Avoid touching the griddles and adjacent hot surfaces
during operation or shortly after switching off the
appliance. Let the appliance cool down completely.
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the prod-
uct is not permitted.
• This appliance is constructed according to safety class I. Only a proper mains
socket with a protective earth contact (220-240 V/AC, 50-60 Hz) of the public sup-
ply grid may be used as a voltage source.
• The appliance must only be operated in dry, enclosed indoor areas. The appliance
and its power cord must be protected from moisture and humidity! Never place
the product in direct vicinity of a bathroom, shower, bathtub, etc. Danger of death
due to electric shock!
• Never touch the appliance or the power plug with damp or wet hands. An electric
shock can be life threatening!
• The appliance should be plugged directly into the wall socket. Never connect it via
multiple sockets or extension cables.
• Do not touch the power cord if there are any signs of damage. Switch off the ap-
propriate mains socket (e.g. via the respective circuit-breaker and the FI switch),
and then carefully unplug the appliance from the mains socket. Never use the
product if the power cord is damaged.
• Discontinue use of the appliance in the event of malfunctions, defects or after a
fall and have it repaired by a specialist. Improper repairs may result in substantial
hazards to the user of the appliance.
• Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage
- the product does not work at all or works poorly (leaking smoke or a smell of
burning, audible cracking noises, discolouration to the product or the adjacent
surfaces)
- the product was stored under unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• Only use accessories that have been approved by the manufacturer. Avoid using
any accessories that are not expressly recommended by the manufacturer, as this
can cause injuries or damage to the product.
• The appliance must not be left unattended when in operation.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impact, blows, or accidental
drops, even from a small height.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a danger-
ous plaything for children.

which are not covered by the operating instructions, please do not hesitate to
