Laser Beam Aligning
To position, the patient for an accurate Sinus scanning, check the positions of the laser
beams:

Follow the procedure below to position the laser beam for Sinus mode:
Position the Vertical Beam to the center of the patient's face. Ensure that the

beam shines along the mid-sagittal line (see the picture). This step helps prevent
the image's horizontal expansion.
Position the Horizontal Beam to the Frankfurt Line of the patient's face. Press

the Laser Up or Laser Down button on the control panel to change the beam's
position.

Do not shine the laser directly into the patient's eyes. The
patients can have vision loss or serious damage to their
eyes.
Ensure to align the patient's position with laser beams before
taking an X-ray, mispositioning beams can cause shadows
or distortions in the captured images.
