CAUTION:
• If the engine has been running, allow it cool for at least 30 minutes before
cleaning.
• Wear heavy gloves to protect your hands while cleaning around the rotary
tines.
• Carry out the cleaning with the tiller on the level spot.
1. Remove the mud, grass tips, dirt and other foreign matter from the tiller body
and rotary tines.
2. Remove the mud and dirt around the air cleaner.
3. Wash the tiller, including the area around the rotary tines.
4. Wash the engine by hand, be careful to prevent water entering the air cleaner.
NOTE:
If using a garden hose or pressure washing equipment to clean the tiller, be
careful to avoid getting water into controls and cables, or anywhere near the air
cleaner and muffler opening.
5. After washing the tiller, wipe dry all accessible surface.
