the same button (2) for 3 seconds and the device will turn off (screen
will go blank).
IMPORTANT: if the device is left idle for 30 seconds after turning on
or after the last measurement, the backlight will turn off and if no
measurement is taken 2 minutes after turning on or after the last
measurement, the device will automatically turn off - this is a battery
saving feature.
SBS-TG-3000 - Press and hold the ON/OFF button (2) until the device
turns on. The displayed result is taken from the last measurement
taken. To turn off the device press and hold the same ON/OFF button
(2) until the device turns off. Alternatively the device will switch off
after the set time has elapsed in inactivity (see text below for more
details).
Auto power off option: The device has an additional energy saving
feature that allows you to select automatic power off after 1-, 2-, 5-,
and 10-minutes (or disable this feature) of inactivity on the device. A
short warning beep will sound 5 seconds before the auto shut-off
time is set to expire.
IMPORTANT: Before the device switches off automatically, all settings
and measurement results will be stored in the device memory.
3.3.3 Settings and calibration

NOTE: Calibration is recommended before the first use of the
device.
After switching on the device before measurement, press
and hold the ON/OFF button (2) and immediately put the
probe to the surface and keep it in this position, because
when it is hidden inside the device it triggers the process of
so called zero calibration. When the display shows
"Calibration Complete" remove the device from the
measured surface and release the ON/OFF button (2).
IMPORTANT: if after holding the button in this position for
another 3 seconds you do not apply the probe to the surface,
the device will read this as turning off and will immediately
turn off.
