Getting ready to use the Monitor

1. Turning on the Monitor
Turn on the Monitor by pushing the ON/OFF button (the following screen will appear).
2. Check battery charge

The battery symbol shows 3 bars when it is fully charged. If the battery is showing only 1
bar the Monitor must be recharged before use. There is no additional warning instruction
to recharge the battery, please look at the number of bars on the battery symbol. The
Monitor can continue to be used if 2 bars are showing. The Monitor can continue to be
used while it is recharging.
3. Setting up the Date and Time
When starting the Monitor for the first time you will be asked to set the Date and Time.
If you want to reset the Date and Time later, then switch the Monitor off and turn it on
again while pressing the STAR button for 5 seconds.
a) Setting the Date: yy-mm-dd
You start with the year (yy). Click the STAR button to change the first digit, press the
BOOKLET button to move the cursor to the second digit. Press the STAR button to
change the second digit and press the BOOKLET button. The cursor will then move
automatically to set the month. Repeat the above to set the month (mm) and then the
day (dd). Press the BOOKLET button again, this brings you to the set time screen.
b) Setting the Time: HH:MM
The Monitor works on a 24 hour schedule, this means:
9 am is: 09:00
9 pm is: 21:00
