5 Commissioning

5 Commissioning
Before commissioning, the proper seat of all
jumpers must be ensured. For commission-
ing, proceed as follows:
1 Remove the isolating strips between the
holder and the battery, and check to see if
the battery is properly inserted in the bat-
tery holder. If not, insert a battery accord-
ing to the instructions in section 4.1.
2 Insert the SE312 into the system box or
BT300.
3 If applicable, insert the SMxxx interface
modules in the SE312.
4 Close off slots that are not occupied with
interface modules (X8, X9) using dummy
panels (see section 5.4).
5 Turn on the voltage supply for the system
box or card rack.
6 Connect the operating computer and set
the time with the BS300 system if operat-
ed without a KE.
7 Configure the interfaces and program the
tightening system.

Two LEDs are installed on the front panel of
the SE312 tightening controller which indi-
cate the operating states:

gramming device or an SD301.
