Fault
The battery control booster
stops the charging process.
The green "Power" LED
flashes slowly.
The battery is no longer tak-
ing a charge or is unable to
hold a charge.
Full charging current is not
reached. The green "Power"
LED is lit.
Display panel only lights up
poorly.
Possible cause
Shutdown by safety timer. The I phase
has lasted too long (>15 h).
Too many DC loads connected.
The battery is defective.
Overheating of the battery control
booster.
The battery is defective.
The house battery is already charged.
The battery terminals are not connected
correctly.
The battery is significantly sulfated.
The DIP switch on the back of the dis-
play panel is set incorrectly.
Night mode is activated.

Suggested remedy
➤ Reset the device by removing the con-
trol signal at D+. Switch off the motor
and disconnect the device from the
mains.
➤ Reduce the connected DC loads.
➤ Replace the battery.
The battery control booster restarts auto-
matically when the temperature drops.
➤ Replace the battery.
➤ Load with powerful consumers.
➤ Check the connections.
➤ Check the cable cross-sections and
lengths (see table on page 19).
➤ Check the stripped cable ends.
➤ Check the voltages directly at the ter-
minals.
➤ Replace the battery.
➤ Check the setting of the DIP switch on
the back of the display panel (see
chapter "Limiting the charging cur-
rent" on page 23).
➤ Switch off the night mode (see chap-
ter "Setting the night mode" on
page 22).
