2. Set the DIP switches according to the battery
type to be charged, see chapter "DIP switch
settings" on page 13.
3. Connect the positive cable from the DC output
socket + for house battery, or 5A + for starting
battery. Connect the cable to the positive ter-
minal of the battery. Protect the the positive
cable of the house battery with a 30 A fuse and
the starting battery with a 7.5 A fuse.
4. Connect the negative cable from the DC out-
put socket - of the battery charger to the nega-
tive terminal of the battery.
5. Optional, compensation for long cabling:
Connect the Sense+ and Sense- wires to the
positive and negative terminals of the house
battery. Protect the Sense+ cable with a 3 A
fuse
6. Plug the 230 V power cable into the AC INPUT
socket on the charger.
7. Plug the power cable into a 230 V socket that
is protected by a residual current circuit
breaker.

1. Follow step 1 to 2 in the section above.
2. Connect one positive cable from each DC out-
put socket + . Connect the cables to each pos-
itive terminal of the batteries. Protect the
positive cables of the house batteries with
60 A fuses, and 7.5 A for starting battery.
3. Connect the negative cable from the DC out-
put socket - of the battery charger to the nega-
tive terminals of the batteries.
4. Optional, compensation for long cabling:
Connect the Sense+ and Sense- wires to the
positive and negative terminals of the house
battery. Protect the Sense+ cable with a 3 A
fuse
5. Follow step 6 to 7 in the section above.

Charging the battery

1. Connect the battery to the DC output sockets +
and - on the charger as described in chapter
"Connect the battery to power supply" on
page 13.
– Make sure the polarity of the connection is
correct.
2. Turn the charger on with the main switch.
