2) Automatic dimming mode (via light sensor)
• Press and hold the SNOOZE/DIMMER button to activate the automatic dimming mode via light sensor.
AU appears on the display.
• In this mode, the low display illumination is activated as soon as the light sensor registers darkness.
• A manual setting with the SNOOZE/DIMMER button is not possible.
• Press and hold the SNOOZE/DIMMER button again to deactivate the function. OFF appears on the dis-
play.
• The display automatically switches back to the current time display.
3) Automatic dimming mode (timed)
• Provided that the automatic dimming function via light sensor is disabled. Only one dimming mode
can be activated at a time.
• Press the SET button. OFF (default) appears on the display. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to activate the
timed automatic dimming mode (ON). The display automatically switches back to the current time dis-
play.
• If the timed auto dimming mode is activated (ON), the low backlight turns on automatically at 6 pm
and switches off again at 6 am (default setting) or for the set time (see: "Setting time interval").
• Press the SET button to deactivate the function. ON appears on the display. Press the ▲ or ▼ button.
OFF appears on the display.
• Note: Press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button, the display will change automatically in the manual light
mode.

Setting time interval
• Press and hold the SET button (display ON) to enter the setting mode for the automatic timer.
• The start time flashes. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to set the hours.
• Confirm the setting with the SET button and press the ▲ or ▼ button to set minutes.
• Confirm the setting with the SET button and set the end time in the same way.
• Confirm the settings with the SET button.
10. Charging function
• Plug your charging USB cable into the USB port on the alarm clock and connect the other end to your
mobile device. Make sure that the USB charging function is suitable for your mobile device (charging
current 1A).
• Do not apply excessive force when connecting the USB cable. The USB plug fits only one way into the
USB port.
11. Care and maintenance
• Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• Remove the battery if you do not use the device for a long period of time.
• Store the device in a dry place.
