DRAINING THE TANK

Make sure, the compressor is switched
off. Rotate the unloading nut of the
safety
valve 5
and pull the valve rod to
release any residing pressure.
Put a container under the drain
and rotate the drain valve slowly coun-
ter-clockwise.
TESTING THE SAFETY VALVE

Switch on the compressor. When pres-
surized rotate the unloading nut of the
safety valve

and pull the valve rod
until you hear escaping air. Re-tighten
nut.
Never use the compressor, if air leaks
after releasing or if the valve is stuck.
INCREASING THE OUTPUT PRESSURE

Turn the pressure regulator
wise. The pressure
gauge 2
shows the
output pressure.
Warning! Do not exceed the pres-
sure given in the manual of the con-
nected tool or inflatable equipment.
DISCONNECTION

Caution!
Before
disconnection:
Switch off and unplug compressor.
Release output pressure by fully rotating
the pressure regulator counterclockwise.

Press the latch of the adaptor
to disconnect the nozzle.

Rotate drain valve

clockwise until
tightly closed.
Dispose of the drained condensate in
valve 6
compliance with local regulations.
Have the safety valve replaced at your
HORNBACH-Store.
Warning! Use of a compressor with
defective safety valve can result in
death or serious personal injury.
REDUCING THE OUTPUT PRESSURE

Turn the pressure
regulator 4
clockwise to reduce the output pres-
sure. Wait, until the pressure
shows the desired pressure.

Firmly hold the end of the coiled hose.
Retract the retaining sleeve and pull out
the connector.
