Possible cause
Insulation faults, breaks or loose con-
nections at the live cables.
Short circuit has been generated.
No solar panel power is generated.
The generated solar power is too
low. Objects or dirt are blocking out
light at the solar panels.

Over voltage protection. Solar panel
voltage (VoC) too high (> 28.0 V).
High temperature protection: The
solar charger switches to reduced
charging voltage (12.75 – 13 V) when
the temperature of the battery
exceeds the cutoff value (> 50 °C).
Low temperature protection: The
solar charger switches to reduced
charging voltage (12.75 – 13 V) when
the temperature of the battery drops
below the cutoff value (lead batter-
ies: < –30 °C, LiFePO4 batteries:
< –20 °C).

Solution
➤ Check live cables for insulation

perature exceeds to the restart value
