7. Installation

7.1 Fixing the external universal transmitter
IMPORTANT
• Make sure there is a
distance of at least
2 meters between each
product, except between
two detectors.
• The transmitter should be
mounted the right way
round to guarantee its
degrees of mechanical
protection.
The transmitter should be
placed (see drawing):
• preferably on the frame of
the entrance to be
protected at least 1 m
above ground level,
• far away from all sources
of interference (electricity
meters, metal frames,
etc.).
Fixing method:
1. position the casing
with the cable gland
facing downwards,
2. fix the base to the wall
via the 4 fixing points
using screws suitable
for wall fixing.
