OPERATING MODE WITH EXHAUST OR CLOSED AIR CIRCULATION
In case of operation with air extraction (Fig. 4), the vapours are exhausted to the atmosphere
through the ventilation duct by means of the extraction system.
With the air recirculation mode, the vapours are freed from grease particles and odours and
blown back into the kitchen (Fig. 5). In order for odors to be absorbed by the hood, an activated
carbon filter is mandatory. This mode of operation is only used when there is no possibility of
vapour escaping to the outside.
