5.5 Upgrading the Router Firmware
If a new firmware is available for the router, you can upgrade it online or ma-
nually. To do this, switch to the menu System management, then Upgrade.
Local upgrade
1. Click on „upload" and select the firmware file.
2. If you want to keep the settings of the router, select „save" in the configu-
ration upgrade. If you select „do not save", all settings of the router will be
overwritten during the upgrade.
3. Then click on „Update" to start the upgrade.
Remote-Upgrade
1. The address for the remote upgrade is already entered.
2. If you want to keep the settings of the router, select „save" in the configu-
ration upgrade. If you select „do not save", all settings of the router will be
overwritten during the upgrade.
3. Then click on „Update" to start the upgrade.
