Storage period up to 1 month:
 No special preparation is required.
Storage period longer than 1 month:
 Drain the fuel from the fuel tank.
 Drain the carburettor.
 Remove the spark plug and pour approximately one tablespoon full of clean engine oil
into the spark plug hole.
 With the engine off, pull the recoil starter handle several times.
 Reinstall the spark plug and pull on the recoil starter handle until the piston is on the
compression stroke (when resistance is felt) then stop pulling.
 Store the machine in a dry, well-ventilated and clean place out of the reach of children.

Unscrew the fuel tank cap (1) from the fuel tank (3).
Remove fuel tank cap filter (2) and clean with a mild
detergent.
If the fuel tank cap filter (2) is damaged, it must be
replaced.
Reinstall the fuel tank cap filter (2).
Screw the fuel tank cap (1) back on tightly.
