power of the appliance is noticeably weaker
and the red indicator light 8 is fl ashing red.
Information about the battery
■
For care of the batteries, we recommend the
following: As soon as the batteries are charged,
disconnect the charger t from the mains. Do
not plug the charger t into the mains until the
appliance's suction power has become notice-
ably weaker.
■
Never continue working until the batteries are
completely discharged and the appliance no
longer works. This can reduce the operating
life of the batteries.
Cleaning and care

Prior to cleaning, disconnect the appliance
from the charger t! Risk of electric shock!

Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning
materials. These could damage the surface
of the appliance!
Cleaning the spray bottle
■
Open the spray bottle and empty contents.
Remove the microfi bre cover z.
Wipe the components of the spray bottle with
a damp cloth; if necessary, use a little mild deter-
gent on the cloth.
The microfi bre cover z can be machine-washed
at 60°C. Do not use any fabric conditioner as
this signifi cantly reduces the cleaning power of
the microfi bres.

Cleaning the appliance
For thorough cleaning, disassemble the appliance.
1) Pull the vacuum attachment 1 from the con-
necting piece 2. Clean the vacuum attach-
ment 1 with a damp cloth. If required, use
some mild detergent on the cloth.
2) Press the release buttons 3 and at the same
time pull the connecting piece 2 from the
motor unit 7. Clean the connecting piece 2
with a damp cloth. If required, use some mild
detergent on the cloth.
3) Remove the dirt container 5 from the motor
unit 7.
Turn the blue nozzle 4 at the top end of the
dirt container 5 slightly anticlockwise and lift it
off . Now you can pull the blue rod downwards
out of the dirt container 5. Rinse the dirt con-
tainer 5 with clear water and, if necessary,
with a mild detergent.
4) Wipe the motor block 7 off with a damp cloth.
If required, use some mild detergent on the
cloth. Dry the motor unit.
5) Then reassemble the appliance.

Put the blue rod back into the dirt container 5
and fi x it into place with the nozzle 4.
Make sure that the washers are correctly
placed.
–
Place the dirt container 5 onto the motor
unit 7.
–
Push the connecting piece 2 onto the motor
unit 7/the dirt container 5, so that it clicks
into place.
–
Push the vacuum attachment 1 onto the
connecting piece 2.
Wipe the charger t with a damp cloth. Ensure
■
that the charger t is completely dry before
reconnecting it to the mains.
Storage
■
Store the cleaned appliance in a clean, dust-free
and dry location.
