Care and maintenance
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the refrigerator may result in
damage.
• Do not use corrosive and abrasive cleaning agents
or sponges to clean the refrigerator. They could dam-
age the surfaces. All-purpose cleaners with a neutral
pH are recommended.
• Never spray the refrigerator with water jets (e.g.
high-pressure cleaner).
• Make sure that no cleaning water gets into the ven-
tilation slots, electrical parts and the drain opening.
Cleaning the front of the appliance
1. Clean the outside walls and door with a damp cloth and gener-
al-purpose cleaner.
2. Wipe dry.
Cleaning the fridge
1. Set the temperature control 3 to '0' and pull the mains plug out
of the socket.
2. Remove your refrigerated goods and place them in a suffi-
ciently cool room.
3. Remove the vegetable drawer and shelves. Clean the interior
walls and all parts with soapy water. Add vinegar to prevent
mould. (Cleaning vinegar, household vinegar or vinegar es-
sence)
4. Clean the opening of the thaw water drain. This is located be-
hind the fixed glass shelf 8.
Notice: The condensation water flows into a drip tray above
the compressor and evaporates there. You do not have to dis-
pose of the condensation water.
5. Wipe down everything with clean water.
6. Wipe everything dry and leave the door open a while to air.
7. Reinsert the shelves and vegetable drawer.
8. Put the refrigerated goods back in storage.
9. Re-insert the mains plug into the socket. Turn the temperature
controller 3 to the desired setting.
