Outside diameter and thickness of a insert tool must correspond to the dimensions specified
for your power tool (Ø<25 mm). Incorrectly dimensioned insert tools may not be adequately
shielded or controlled.
Tools or external accessories must match; otherwise, the result may be imbalanced operation,
vibrations, etc.
Do not use any damaged tools. Perform an inspection before each use: for example, check
grinding wheels for cracks, cutting disks for cracks, heavy wear.
Never set aside the power tool before the insert tool has come to a complete standstill. The
rotating insert tool can come into contact with the surface upon which it is placed. This can
result in your losing control of the power tool.
Do not operate the power tool while walking. Your clothing can get caught in the rotating insert
tool due to accidental contact, and the insert tool can puncture your body.
Do not use the power tool near flammable substances. Sparks can cause these materials to
ignite.
Hold the unit firmly during every use so that you may be adequately prepared to react to recoil.
Recoil can result in minor or severe injuries. Ensure the safe and even guiding of the tool during
work in order to avoid recoil.
Users of the device should be at least 16 years old.
Avoid freehand grinding without a hand rest. Ensure a stable stance or support of your hand
and arm.
Do not use any cracked, bent, imbalanced or vibrating cutting disks, grinding wheels or grinding
pencils.
Always select the tool best suited for the particular operation. Cutting disks, for example, must
not be used for side grinding.
Before each use of each tool you should ensure that:
-
it is assembled and tightened properly.
-
the device rotates freely (rotate by hand to check).
-
a test run has been performed by running the tool from a safe position for approximately one
minute at the highest speed and while not subjected to any stress.
Flying sparks when working with metal can result in burns. Keep your work area free of
flammable substances.
When working, wear goggles, hearing protection as well as a dust mask. It is recommended
that you wear an apron as well as protective shoes where possible.
Do not wear any jewelry when working.
Tie up hair or loose clothing in the proper fashion so that they do not get caught in rotating
parts.
