Pause cooking process
If you press the button while using the appliance, the cooking process pauses. To
resume operation, press the button again.
Setting the timer
The timer can be used in two different ways:
• The timer can be set so that only one hob is switched off after the time has elapsed.
• A time between 00 and 99 minutes can be set on the timer.
Once the timer is set, the countdown will begin. The time remaining until the countdown
is displayed on the screen and the timer symbol flashes every 5 minutes. When the
countdown is over, the unit beeps for 30 seconds and [-] appears on the timer display.
Automatic switch-off of a single hob

In hob selection, touch the
hob for which you want to
activate the timer (e.g. 30
minutes).
Touch the timer icon. The display flashes in two places.
First select [3] and then press the timer icon again.
The display then flashes at one point. Select [0] and
complete this step. The timer indicator starts flashing
and [30] is displayed on the screen. Adjust the time by
swiping your finger across the slider.
