8. Setting up

Warning
• Always leave the blade covers on until you are ready to begin cutting. This protects the user from injury and
the blades from getting damaged.
a) Insert/remove battery pack
• To insert a battery pack, align the tab on the battery with the slot
on the tool.
• Hold the tool and battery pack firmly without touching the power
switch.
• Slide the battery all the way in until it locks into place with a
"click". Make sure it is securely fixed in place before letting go.
• Press the battery release button to release the battery pack.
b) Attaching/remove cutting heads
Always remove the battery before attaching or removing cutting heads. Accidentally starting the product
can cause serious injuries!
Attaching

Align the attachment point on the product with the cutting head as shown. The parts should "click" into place.
Removing

Press both release tabs before removing.
