Changing grid characteristics using a DIP switch
| It is prohibited to set values other than those specified by the
appropriate energy supply company (ESC) or required by law. If
the values which can be set using the DIP switches do not meet
the specifications, the next lower value must be selected for the
overvoltage shutdown (e.g.: specification 248 V, selected 245 V).
Where such a case applies for the undervoltage shutdown, the
next higher value must be selected (e.g.: specification 205 V,
selected 208 V).
| Incorrect DIP switch settings on the AC printed circuit boards can
greatly impair operating performance and lead to malfunctions
and hardware deterioration.
| Unauthorised divergence from these specifications can lead to
malfunctions, losses in yield and withdrawal of feed-in licence.
| Before carrying out the settings, the device is switched off and
completely deenergised via the disconnectors and secured
against being switched on again. Observe the general safety
instructions in Chapter 5.1 on page 25.

| Insulated tool with a fine point of approx. 1 mm in diameter
| Magnifying glass (where required)

Changing grid characteristics
1. Check whether the standard settings are suitable for the power
characteristics of your grid connection.
| You can obtain the approved values from your energy supply
company.
2. Open the control cabinet.
3. Unlock and remove the circuit board. Please note: This step is
not required if the available space is sufficient for setting the
switches.
Damage due to incorrectly set DIP switches!
DIP switches are particularly sensitive to mechanical stress and
must be set with the aid of a special tool or an object with a stable,
filigree tip.
| Only use suitable tools.
4. If required: Set the DIP switches (1) of the AC circuit boards
according to the specifications in the following tables.
