ERATION and MAINTENANCE, paying particular attention to

The contents of this manual must be made known to the oper-
ator of the appliance and to whoever is entrusted with routine
servicing operations.
CLASSIFICATION
The user must abide by conditions governing operation of the
appliance as specified in regulations, taking account in particu-
lar of its classification:
The appliance is classified as Class I with regard to protection
against electric shock.
The appliance is factory-set for the intended use and all in-
corporated safety devices are sealed. The settings of these
devices must not be altered.
The water heater incorporated into the appliance utilizes a
burner fired with Diesel fuel.
When in use, the appliance must always stand on firm flat
ground, and must never be moved while in operation or when
connected to the electrical power supply.
The appliance is designed and intended for fixed installation.
Failure to observe this precaution could result in danger.
The appliance must not be used in places where it may be
exposed to corrosive or potentially explosive atmospheres
(vapours or gases).

GENERAL SAFETY REGULA-
TIONS FOR NORMAL USE

- The appliance must be connected to the
power supply by a professional electrician
operating in compliance with current reg-
ulations (observing the provisions of IEC
60364-1 standard) and in accordance with
the manufacturer's instructions. Incorrect
connection may result in damage to persons,
animals or property, in which case the man-
ufacturer declines all liability.
Appliances having a rated power of less than
3 kW are fitted with a plug for connection to
the mains power supply. In this instance,
ensure that the rated power of the wiring
installation and socket outlets will match the
maximum rated power of the appliance as
indicated on the data plate (kW). If in doubt,
contact a professional electrician.
If the power socket and the plug fitted to the
appliance are incompatible, have the socket
replaced with a suitable type by a profession-
al electrician.

Before connecting the appliance, make
sure the specifications indicated on the data
plate are compatible with those of electrical
power supply.
- Do not use extensions to connect the ap-
pliance to the power supply. If an extension
must be used, the plug and socket must be
of watertight design. Unsuitable extensions
may be dangerous.
- The electrical safety of the appliance is
assured only when its electrical circuits are
connected correctly to an efficient earth
system as specified by current electrical
safety regulations (in compliance with the
