Operating modes

11 Operating modes
I want to use the speaker as a multiroom speak-
er along with music streaming services.
Connect to Wi-Fi and do not pair
with WDAL2.0 device
In this mode, the speaker is operating as a standalone
speaker and you can select it using your favourite app.
ECO Mode
In the default ECO mode, the speaker switches to
standby mode if no sound is played for 15 minutes.
To turn the speaker back on, you need to tap the
touch interface. In ECO mode, the speaker will use
as little power as possible in case it is not needed.
To always have the speaker available from
the app, switch to "Multiroom" mode.
Tap and hold the centre button for > 7 sec
Enter Multiroom mode -> LED flashes 5x red
Enter Eco mode -> LED flashes 5x green
Multiroom Mode
In this mode, the speaker will always be on and avail-
able for playback from any source. In this mode,
the speaker has a higher power consumption.
After 15 minutes of no playback, the speaker en-
ters power saving mode while retaining full avail-
ability. This is indicated by a dimmed white LED.
If you wish to return to ECO mode, you can do so by
pressing the centre button again for more than 7 seconds.
To use the speaker as a satellite speaker connected to
a WDAL2.0 audio system, perform a factory reset.

In this mode, the speaker is connected to a
WDAL2.0 audio system (e.g. a multiroom sound-
bar) and switches on and off with this system.
To stream music to the speaker, select the WDAL2.0
audio system in your favourite app and the satellite
speaker will play automatically in this setting. If your
WDAL2.0 audio system is a soundbar,you may want
to set it to Multiroom mode, so it's always available
even when the TV is off (see the soundbar manual).
The multiroom function of this speaker is com-
pletely turned off to save energy, reduce radio emis-
sions, and prevent multiple speakers connected
to the audio system from appearing in the app.
To activate the multiroom function and use the speak-
er as a standalone product, perform a factory reset.
