Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Produkt ist zum Einbau in ein PC-Gehäuse vorgesehen. Es stellt dort einen
Zigarettenanzünder und eine Getränkedosen-Halterung (auch als Aufbewahrungs-
box für Kleinteile nutzbar) zur Verfügung.
Die Getränkehalterung/Aufbewahrungsbox darf nicht als Aschenbecher ver-
wendet werden, da sie nicht aus einem feuerfesten Material besteht.
Zum Betrieb ist ein ausreichend starkes PC-Netzteil erforderlich (mind. 350W, hohe
Stromabgabe auf der 12V-Leitung), andernfalls wird das Netzteil beschädigt!

Sicherheitshinweise
Bevor Sie mit dem Einbau beginnen, lesen Sie sich diese
Bedienungsanleitung bitte komplett durch.
Falls Sie keine Fachkenntnisse für den Einbau haben, so lassen Sie
den Einbau von einer Fachkraft oder einer entsprechenden
Fachwerkstatt durchführen!
Vorsicht, Lebensgefahr!
Schalten Sie Ihren PC aus und trennen Sie ihn von der Netzspannung,
ziehen Sie den Netzstecker!
Einbau
• Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse Ihres PCs, nehmen Sie den Gehäusedeckel ab.
• Entfernen Sie eine Frontblende eines 5.25"-Einbauschachtes. Je nach verwende-
tem PC-Gehäuse ist zusätzlich die Entfernung einer Metallblende nötig. In selte-
nen Fällen muss dazu die gesamte Gehäusefront abgenommen werden.
• Schieben Sie den Einschub in korrekter Orientierung (Öffnung des
Getränkehalters/Aufbewahrungsbox muss nach oben zeigen)
Einbauschacht des PC-Gehäuses und schrauben Sie ihn fest.
• Verbinden Sie den 5.25"-Stromstecker mit einem 5.25"-Stromanschluss Ihres
PC-Netzteils.
• Sichern Sie alle Kabel, so dass sie nicht in die Lüfter des PCs gelangen können,
verwenden Sie z.B. Kabelbinder.
• Verschließen Sie das PC-Gehäuse.
• Möglicherweise ist der Zigarettenanzünder eingedrückt. Ziehen Sie ihn in die
Normalposition heraus.
• Verbinden Sie nun den PC mit der Netzspannung und schalten Sie ihn ein.
Bedienung
• Die Getränkedosen-Halterung/Aufbewahrungsbox wird durch Drücken des kleinen
Knopfes automatisch herausgeschoben.
Achtung! Vorsicht!
Die Getränkedosen-Halterung/Aufbewahrungsbox darf nicht als
Aschenbecher verwendet werden! Das Material ist nicht feuerfest, es
besteht nur aus "normalem" Kunststoff.
Andernfalls besteht durch Hitzeeinwirkung der Zigarettenglut höch-
ste Gefahr eines Brandes! Garantieverlust!
Die Getränkedosen-Halterung/Aufbewahrungsbox verfügt über einen heraus-
nehmbaren Einsatz, der dadurch sehr leicht gereinigt werden kann.
• Der Zigarettenanzünder wird wie im KFZ durch Eindrücken in Betrieb genommen.
Nach einigen Sekunden hat sich der Zigarettenanzünder aufgeheizt und springt
automatisch in die Ausgangsposition zurück.

Ziehen Sie danach den Zigarettenanzünder heraus und entzünden Sie Ihre
Zigarette wie mit einem Zigarettenanzünder gewohnt.
Achtung! Vorsicht!
Der Vorderteil des Zigarettenanzünders wird sehr heiß, Verbrenn-
ungsgefahr!
Stecken Sie den Zigarettenanzünder danach wieder in seine Halterung (nur
soweit, dass er nicht nochmals aufheizt).
Tipps und Hinweise
• Obwohl der Aufheizvorgang nur einige Sekunden dauert, besteht durch die hohe
Stromaufnahme (ca. 8Abei +12V) die Gefahr der Überlastung und Zerstörung des
PC-Netzteils.
Aus diesem Grund muss ein ausreichend starkes PC-Netzteil (mindestens
350W) verwendet werden, das über genügend Reserven auf der +12V-
Leitung verfügt.
Leistungsschwache 250W-Netzteile oder Low-Cost-Produkte könnten
durch die hohe Stromaufnahme überlastet und zerstört werden.
Garantieverlust!
Verwenden Sie deshalb den Zigarettenanzünder niemals im Dauerbetrieb,
lassen Sie zwischen jedem Aufheizvorgang mindestens 30 Sekunden
Pause.
• Die Getränkedosen-Halterung/Aufbewahrungsbox darf nicht als Aschenbecher
verwendet werden!

Intended Use
The product is intended for installation in a PC housing. There, it serves as a ciga-
rette lighter and a drinks can holder (also useful as a storage box for keeping small
parts).
The drinks holder/container box may not be used as an ashtray as it is not
made of fire-proof material.
A PC power unit of sufficient capacity is necessary for operation (at least 350W, high
power output on the 12-V cable), otherwise the power unit will be damaged!

Switch OFF your PC and disconnect it from the mains supply; pull out
the mains plug!
Installation
• Open the housing of your computer and remove the cover of the housing.
• Remove one front plate of a 5.25" installation shaft. Depending on the PC hous-
ing, it is also necessary to remove a metal plate. In some seldom cases, the whole
housing front has to be removed.
• Orientate the slot correctly (opening of the drinks holder/storage box has to be
pointing upwards) in the installation shaft of the PC housing and screw it tight.
• Connect the 5.25" power plug to a 5.25-power connection of your PC power unit.
• Secure all cables so that they cannot become entangled in the ventilator of the
PCs. Use a cable tie for this, for example.
• Close the housing of the PC.
• It is possible that the cigarette lighter is pressed in. Pull it out to its normal posi-
tion.
• Connect the PC to the mains supply and switch it ON.
Operation
• The drinks can holder/storage box is pushed out automatically by pressing the
small button.
Attention! Caution!
The drinks can holder/storage box may not be used as an ashtray!
The material is not fire-proof as it only consists of "normal" plastic.
Otherwise the heat impact of the cigarette embers means the great-
est risk of a fire! Loss of warranty!
The drinks can holder/storage box possesses a removable insert which can be
cleaned very easily.
• The cigarette lighter is put into operation in the car by pressing it in. The cigarette

lighter heats up in a few seconds and springs back then automatically to the start-
ing position.

Pull out the cigarette lighter and light your cigarette as usual.
Attention! Caution!
The front part of the cigarette lighter becomes very hot, risk of burn-
ing!
Insert the cigarette lighter into its holder again (only far enough that it does not re-
light).
Tips and information
• Although the heating-up process only takes a few seconds, there is a risk of over-
loading and destruction of the PC power unit through the high power consumption
(approx. 8A at +12V).
For this reason it is necessary to use a sufficiently strong PC power unit (at
least 350W) which possesses sufficient reserves on the +12V cable.
Low-performance 250W-power units of low-cost products could be over-
loaded and destructed by the high power consumption. Loss of warranty!
Therefore, never use the cigarette lighter in permanent operation. Always
allow at least 30 seconds before heating it up again.
• The drinks can holder/storage box may not be used as an ashtray!

Otherwise the heat impact of the cigarette glow means the greatest
risk of a fire! Loss of warranty!
