Troubleshooting

Problem
LCD display shows " ".
Scale does not turn on.
Display shows " ".
Reading is inaccurate.

Possible Cause

Batteries are running low.
Batteries are out of power.
Batteries are not properly installed.
Weight exceeds 5kg (11 lb).
Scale is not on a level surface.
Scale was not tared correctly.
Solution
Replace the batteries.
Insert batteries under the correct polarity as
marked on battery compartment.
Remove item from scale to protect its weight
sensors. Use a different scale with a higher
weight range.
Place scale on a level surface.
Reset the scale's tare measurement, making
sure it shows " " before measuring
(see Tare Function, page 12).
