The IGBT is controlled by pin 36 of IC504. A low signal at this pin switches the IGBT on, and a high
signal switches it off. In the idle state, the IGBT is on. For further details, see section 4.2. "Main
reflector trigger circuit", page 7.
Synchronization of internal operations with the flash current:
The internal operations of the ASIC are synchronized via pin 34 of IC504. As soon as the flash tube
ignites and a flash current flows, a negative voltage drop is generated across resistor R401. This
voltage causes Tr513 to conduct and to connect pin 34 of IC504 to low.
