and stored at the right temperatures. With increasing age,
however, the battery capacity will diminish, even when
properly maintained. A significantly reduced operating period
indicates that the battery is worn out and must be replaced.
You can replace the battery yourself.
● If you see a wobble in the wheel. First make sure the tyre is
seated correctly on the rim. If it is seated correctly ask your
Urban Arrow dealer to repair the wheel.

As with all mechanical components, the e-bike is subjected to
wear and high stresses. Different materials and components
may react to wear or stress fatigue in different ways. If
the design life of a component has been exceeded, it may
suddenly fail, possibly causing injuries to the rider. Any form
of crack, scratches or change of coloring in highly stressed
areas indicate that the life of the component has been
reached and it should be replaced.

8.2.4 Roller brake adjustment

Over time wear on the braking surfaces will affect the brake
performance of your e-bike. The best way to check the brake
performance to pull on both brake levers and try to push the bike
forward. If the wheels start to rotate with moderate pushing force, it
is time to make an adjustment.
Adjusting for brake wear can be done by adjusting the brake cable
length. The brake cable settings are adjusted as follows:
1. Take a seat on the saddle and face forward.

2. Adjust the brake setting:
a. When there is not enough brake performance: Put more
tension on the cable by turning barrel 76 (part 1 and 2, see
step 1 in image 38) counter clockwise.
Always adjust the barrel in such a way that the lever can be
pulled up to the grip under full force. Never adjust the roller
brakes too tight. This can cause malfunctioning of the brakes
which may lead to collisions and/or accidents. Always contact
your Urban Arrow dealer in case the barrel adjustment
doesn't improve your braking performance.
b. When you are not able to pull the lever up to the grip
under full force there is too much brake performance: Put
less tension on the cable by turning barrel 76 (1 and 2, see
image 38) clockwise.
3. Lock the position by screwing part 2 back against the lever
(see step 2 in image 38).
