Door terminal and terminal module

Generally, a 1337-10/11 door terminal or the terminal module 1370-10 (Fig. 2) is used as an emergency exit security
switching or display device (exceptions see page 9: "Special function I ..."). This features three LEDs for optical
display of the operating status, a key-operated switch for all operational switching functions, the red panic button
for door release and, integrated in the housing, an alarm buzzer.
1370-10
The most important element of the door terminal and
the terminal module in accordance with Fig. 2 is the
emergency switch, which is designed as a red
illuminated panic button. This interrupts the circuit of
the locking element when actuated and so unlocks it.
At the same time, an alarm is triggered. The actuating
button locks into place and has to be pulled out again
before the alarm can be reset.
In the case of the door terminal 1337-10/11, the cover
cowl over the panic button is pressed in at the same
time, but not damaged. It can be pulled out without the
need to use any instrument and used again after the
panic button has been pulled back out.
In the door terminal 1337-10, the red cap of the
panic button only is pressed in case of emergency. To
reset the emergency switch, the transparent cover
cowl must first be unlocked with the aid of the key (for
more details, see page 8).
The key-operated switch integrated in the door
terminal or terminal module can be used to switch all
operating functions of the emergency exit security
system such as temporary and continuous unlocking,
locking and alarm acknowledgement.
