10. General operating functions
10.1. Audio functions
NOTE!
The description applies to audio output on the connected speakers.
Where devices with separate speakers are connected, you can of course
adjust the sound on those devices.
10.1.1. Volume
Press the VOL+ button on the remote control or turn the volume adjuster on
the device clockwise to increase the volume.
Press the VOL– button on the remote control or turn the volume adjuster on
the device anti-clockwise to decrease the volume.
10.1.2. Switch off sound – MUTE
Press the
button on the remote control to turn the sound off completely.
MUTING will appear on the display.
Press the
button on the remote control to turn the sound on again. MUT-
ING disappears from the display.
10.1.3. Bass/Treble
Press the BASS/TREBLE button once or multiple times until the desired func-
tion BASS or TREBLE appears on the display.
Use VOL -/+ to set the desired bass and treble setting.
If the X-bass function has been activated, the settings for Bass/Treble will be ig-
nored.
10.1.4. X-bass
X-bass allows you to activate or deactivate a bass boost using the remote control.
Press the X-BASS button on the remote control. X-BASS will appear on the
display. The function is activated.
Press the button again to deactivate X-bass again. X-BASS will vanish from the
display.
If the X-bass function has been activated, the settings for Bass/Treble will be ig-
nored.
10.1.5. Equalizer
Press the EQ button once or multiple times to call up the different sound settings
FLAT, CLASSIC, ROCK and POP.
