Mains Operation (power adaptor not supplied)
It is possible to operate the device using the mains power unit.
1. Insert the plug of the power unit into a correctly installed wall socket.
2. Connect the CD player to the power unit by inserting the plug of the power unit into
the DC IN 4.5 V socket.
3. When using a power unit (DC 4.5 - 5 V / 1000 mA) ensure the correct polarity ac-
cording to the inscriptions on the CD player.
Power Off
Switch the device off during stop mode by pressing the button once.
During playback, press the button twice to switch off the device.
Volume
The desired volume can be sent using the VOLUME regulator.
PHONES Headphone Jack
For headphone operation, use a headphone set with a 3.5 mm stereo jack plug plugged
into the headphone jack.
ESP Function
The device features an anti-shock function. In case of problems, the device will be
able to read the CD music files from the fast memory without any problems. Sampling
mistakes will be corrected later in the fast memory.
The activated function is indicated by the letters ESP in the display.
• When playing MP3 CDs, ESP is flashing while data is stored into the buffer memory.
When data is retrieved from the buffer memory, the display shows the letters ESP
permanently.
• When playing audio CDs, ESP flashes continuously.
