Pipe connection

When the connection kit and the pipe specifications are not aligned, you can convert the dimensions as per
variable diameter
Pipe insulation
Please use the auxiliary insulation cylinder and tie the wire for insulation purposes, as indicated in Fig.1, after
performing the gas leakage test.
Note 1:
In case of the gas-liquid pipe in the connection kit, it has to be wrapped with insulation materials (purchased
locally), when their auxiliary insulation cylinders have been installed.
In case of insulation materials for the flare nut connections, following instructions have to be taken into
consideration:
(1) Please connect it tightly, so as to ensure absence of gas leakage at both ends.
(2) The retaining clamp should not be too tightly wound, so as to ensure the thickness of the insulation
materials.
(3) Joints of insulation materials (purchased locally) for the upper flare nut connections shall be wrapped in
an upward direction.
(4) Ensure that the joints of the insulation materials are installed upwards (See Fig.2.).

Additional refrigerant charging
Charge the additional refrigerant of the liquid pipe between the outdoor units and connection kits and that
between the connection kits and the indoor units, in accordance to the Operation & Installation Manual of the
outdoor unit.
