7.9 Saving the program against changes
By touching the lock on the display the current program will be protected against changes.
Nevertheless it is possible to change settings during surgery. Once the device is switched off, the
settings will be restored at the time of activation the lock,
7.10 Switching off
After terminating the operation, switch off the system at the main switch and pull out the plug.
After switching off the system, all electrodes and forceps must be disconnected from the cable and
the electrode cable from the unit.
7.11 Security functions
Microprocessor tracking of the safety functions
In order to minimize the risks associated with high frequency electrosurgery, the system is equipped
with a number of safety functions. The system's microprocessor control and sensor technology allow
a number of monitoring functions to be implemented. The functional states as well as the states of the
fault in the generator are signaled visually and tonally, whereby the HF current is switched off
immediately if necessary.
The HRF 100 has an automatic, self-diagnosing control
Monitoring the wrong dosage
By following the output energy and power, the HBS argon module constantly compares the
permissible voltage limits and the values selected on the control panel. If impermissible deviations are
reached, the radiated HF energy is interrupted and an error message is output.
