19. Scan Ran
Keys shortcut [MENU] [19]
In frequency mode, the frequency range to be scanned can be entered manually using the
keypad.
144 146 & 430 440MHz
For example, enter 144 146. The range to be scanned will be between 144.0000 - 146.0000MHz.
Or enter 430 440. The range to be scanned will be between 430,000 440,000MHz.
20. Scan Mode
Keys shortcut [MENU] [20]
The radio can scan in frequency mode or channel mode.
Options:
• Time (Time-operated SCAN)
When a signal is detected, the radio will stop scanning for 5 seconds, after which the radio will
continue scanning even if the signal still persists.
• Carrier (Carrier-operated SCAN)
When a signal is detected, the radio will stop scanning. It will resume scanning after the signal
disappears.
• Search (Search SCAN)
