CARE & USE
• Make sure that the cooking ring is positioned completely level (spirit level).
• Make sure that the cooking ring is at least 2 metres away from surrounding objects.
• Let the cooking ring cool down slowly.
• While cooling down, first clean the cooking ring with a spatula, then with hot water.
• Never use aggressive or corrosive cleaning agents.
• Not dishwasher-safe.
• Use enough oil the first time to stimulate the properties of the cooking ring.
• The cooking ring has a protective coating. This will loosen up with use and eventually disappear altogether. This layer is
not harmful to health.
STORAGE
• Dry the cooking ring before storing, as moisture will rust the steel.
• Before long-term storage, treat the plate with food oil to prevent the steel from rusting.

POINTS OF AWARENESS FOR USE
• Fire gently the first time to allow the coating to get used to the high temperatures. This prevents damage to the coating.
• Check with your fire department for information on burning bans and chiminea & fire pit regulations in your area.
• Terrace fire pits can stay hot and smouldering for up to 24 hours after the visible fire has gone out.
• Smouldering patio fires are a common cause of injury and burns, especially among children.
• When placed outside, the surface of the terrace fireplace discolours due to sunlight. Furthermore, discolouration occurs
due to the reaction of the product to heat/open fire.
