The BELFOX Ultra VA / 800 / 800i actuator requires a concrete foundation or a
steel construction of at least 400 x 200 mm, each at a frost-free depth (in Ger-
many = min. 80 cm deep).
Make the foundations sufficiently large so that the material does not break out
when drilling the mounting holes. For the required dimensions, refer to the
manufacturer's dimensional specifications .
The foundation or console should be slightly higher than the surrounding level.
To avoid ice surfaces in winter, water should be able to run away from the run-
ning track with a gradient.

Lay the power supply line (230 V) through an empty pipe in the foundation. Lay
the connection lines (24 V) for accessories through another empty conduit,
which is separated from the mains supply line.
